ApexGate Guide — Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta

What is a ApexGate?

ApexGates are personal combat dimensions you open by collecting parts. Inside, you clear waves of creatures that arrive in order, and when you complete the gate you earn big rewards. There are 4 gates in total: Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta — each harder than the last, with bigger rewards.

How Are Gates Opened and Entered?

  1. Spin energy: From the ApexGate panel in the Command Center, you spin energy (100 Orbidium per spin; free if you have stored energy). Each spin may drop ammo, xenomit, a gate part, a repair coupon, or an R&D file. Spin batches: 1 / 5 / 10 / 100.
  2. Parts accumulate: Each part collected goes to a random gate. A gate opens automatically once it reaches the required part count — Alpha 34, Beta 48, Gamma 82, Delta 128 parts.
  3. Multiplier: An extra part that lands on an already-full gate becomes a Multiplier +1 (up to 6). The multiplier is applied to your next spin and multiplies that spin’s reward by its current value — up to ×6, not just double.
  4. Enter: When you choose “Prepare jump,” a private portal opens on your own company’s X-1 map; fly to the portal and go in.
  5. Lives: Each gate has 3 lives. If you die, you respawn on X-1 with −1 life. If your lives run out (0), the gate collapses and you must collect parts from scratch. You can buy extra lives with Orbidium (rising cost per life).

What’s Inside? (Same for all gates)

Every gate consists of 10 sections, and a total of 432 creatures arrive in order. Each section starts with a short countdown, after which creatures appear in sub-waves.

Important: The creatures and their counts are the same in all four gates. The gates differ only in the creatures’ power and the rewards they give (see below).

Creatures in order:

Order Creature Count
1 Vagus 40
2 Scoria 40
3 Sentina 40
4 Pestis 80
5 Vastator 20
6 Obsidion 80
7 Aethelon 20
8 Exterminatus 80
9 Monarchus 16
10 Obsidionus 16

Difficulty and Reward Multiplier

Each gate has a tier multiplier. This multiplier scales both the creatures’ HP / shield / damage and all the rewards you earn from them and at the end of the gate (Experience, Honor, Orbidium and material loot) by the same factor:

  • Alpha → 1× (normal map power)
  • Beta → 2×
  • Gamma → 3×
  • Delta → 4×

So in Delta the creatures are 4× stronger, but your earnings are 4× as well.

Gate Completion Rewards

When you fully clear a gate, you receive the following rewards (scaled automatically by tier):

Reward Alpha (1×) Beta (2×) Gamma (3×) Delta (4×)
Orbidium 20,000 40,000 60,000 80,000
ULB-100 (x4) Ammo 20,000 40,000 60,000 80,000
Experience Points (XP) 4,000,000 8,000,000 12,000,000 16,000,000
Honor Points 100,000 200,000 300,000 400,000
Free Repair Coupons 2 4 6 8
R&D (Daily) Files 2 4 6 8

On top of these, you earn a commemorative ring unique to each gate. And while clearing the sections, you also collect Experience, Honor, Orbidium and materials from individual creatures (scaled by tier).

Good luck, pilot! :rocket:
