Level is your core indicator of progress in the universe. As you collect Experience Points (XP), you level up; each new level unlocks access to new maps and other opportunities. There are 30 levels in total.
The table below shows the total XP required for each level and the maps unlocked at that level. Maps are split into your own company’s maps (X-1…X-8), enemy company maps, and shared PvP maps (4-1…4-4).

The Starter Map (X-1) and Level
Your own company’s X-1 map is for new pilots. As your level rises, the value of bonus boxes there drops, so experienced pilots don’t linger in the starter zone:

In Short
- All you need to level up is to collect Experience Points — hunt NPCs, complete quests, destroy enemy ships.
- From level 3 onward, the XP threshold doubles every level; the further you go, the harder leveling gets.
- At level 17, access to all known maps opens. Beyond that, it’s a race of pure power and prestige.
