Nexus and the Home Advantage

The Nexus is the easiest-to-reach elite ship, bought with Orbidium. What makes it special is that it works in two different states: Home Advantage and Standard.

What is the Home Advantage?

This Nexus-only advantage kicks in on your own company’s X-1, X-2, X-3 and X-4 maps. On these maps:

  • Your lasers and rockets hit at 200% power (double),
  • Your shields rise to 200% (double),
  • Your Hit Points (HP) and speed climb above their standard values.

So you deal far more damage to enemy company members and NPCs, and become far more durable. This gives new pilots a serious edge — both for grinding and for slipping away from rivals — until they upgrade their gear. And if you’re a fully equipped Nexus, you become a nightmare for enemies raiding your region. :slightly_smiling_face:

:warning: Level Limit

The Home Advantage doesn’t last forever; it is only active up to a certain level:

  • Regular members: valid while your pilot level is 7 or below.
  • Premium members: valid while your pilot level is 9 or below.

Once you rise above these levels, the Home Advantage turns off — because by then you’ve reached a level where you’re strong enough with your own gear.

:warning: Important Warnings

  • The Home Advantage is valid only on your own company’s X-1..X-4 maps. The moment you leave these maps, your ship instantly reverts to its standard stats; your damage, shields and other values drop immediately.
  • The 200% hit power of your lasers applies only to enemy company ships and NPCs. Against members of your own company — even if you’re at clan war — you hit at your ship’s standard power.

What is the Standard State?

On every other map where the Home Advantage doesn’t apply, your ship runs on its standard stats. For example:

  • PvP maps (4-1, 4-2, 4-3, 4-4),
  • Galaxy Gates and all instances inside them,
  • Your own company’s X-5, X-6, X-7, X-8 maps,
  • All maps of enemy companies (including their X-1..X-4 maps).

In short: Home Advantage = only your own company’s X-1..X-4 (and within the level limit). Everywhere else, your ship is at standard power.
